言處慳、家慳等者，若依成實論明其五慳，謂住處慳，家慳，施慳，稱讚慳，法慳也。此中辨六開令有異。言邊際臥具有三品，此是下品故名邊際也。

Regarding 'stinginess regarding dwelling place, stinginess regarding families,' and so forth: if one relies on the Tattvasiddhi-śāstra (*Chengshi lun*), it explains five types of stinginess: stinginess regarding dwelling places, stinginess regarding families, stinginess regarding giving, stinginess regarding praise, and stinginess regarding the Dharma. Herein, six are distinguished, establishing a difference. Regarding 'bedding and sitting gear at the lowest limit': there are three grades, and this is the inferior grade, hence called 'the limit.'
