18.405

言或有一類般涅槃後，如是多分身壞命終，還得善趣等者，諸或有一類最後生，值佛般涅槃後賢善人故多分命終還生善趣，後作惡業少分生惡趣，皆是賢善時人。

Regarding 'or there is a class who, after parinirvāṇa, in this manner mostly, when their bodies break up and life ends, return to obtain a good destination,' and so forth: for all of that class who had their final rebirth, encountering the Buddha, being virtuous and good persons after his parinirvāṇa, mostly when life ends they are reborn back in a good destination; later, those who commit evil karma, in a small portion, are born in bad destinations—these are all people of the time of the virtuous and good.
