玄述兩解。一云，此文據菩薩金剛一無礙道頓斷三界修道所斷九品煩惱為論。一云，此據超越阿羅漢為論。次云：復次彼諸聖者乃至斷煩惱故者，無相作意即無分別智，相應作意於修位中多人此觀。

Xuan presents two explanations. One says: this text is discussed based on the bodhisattva's single adamantine unobstructed path suddenly severing the nine grades of defilements abandoned by the path of cultivation in the three realms. The other says: this is discussed based on the leaping arhat. Next it states: "Furthermore, those āryas" up to "because they sever defilements": the signless mental application is non-conceptual wisdom; with mental application associated [with it], many people in the stage of cultivation enter this contemplation.
