19.82

又具戒等應藉敬發名應發義，泰云：七義中初一、是教法；次二、是理法，正理應攝邪理應避；次二、是行法，善行應引惡行應遮；次二、是果法，自利早應持利他果應支；今依後解。

Furthermore, being endowed with morality and so forth must be produced by relying on reverence; hence it is called the meaning of what should be produced. Tai says: 'Among the seven meanings, the first is the Dharma of teaching; the next two are the Dharma of principle, as right principle should be gathered and wrong principle should be avoided; the next two are the Dharma of practice, as good practice should be induced and evil practice should be prevented; the next two are the Dharma of fruition, as self-benefit should be maintained early on and the fruition of benefiting others should be supported.' Now we follow the latter explanation.
