若蘊外餘處者，汝所計我，應應是無為等者，彼宗計我，為無為所不攝故。量云：汝我應是。無為，許異蘊故，如虛空無為。

Regarding ‘If it is elsewhere outside the aggregates, the self you assert should be unconditioned, etc.’: because that system asserts the self is not subsumed under either the conditioned or the unconditioned. The syllogism is: Your self should be unconditioned; because it is accepted as distinct from the aggregates; like unconditioned space.
