地中五門，前四門訖。自下第五雜染等起中分二：初、明三雜染，後明斷三雜染修六現觀。前中復二：初開三章，謂煩惱業生三種雜染；二、依章釋，煩惱中初列九門，次依門釋。

Of the five gates in the Bhūmi, the first four gates are finished. From here on, the fifth, 'Co-arising of Defilements', is divided into two: first, explaining the three defilements; second, explaining the cultivation of the six direct realizations to sever the three defilements. The former also has two parts: first, opening three chapters, namely the three kinds of defilement of afflictions, karma, and rebirth; second, explaining according to the chapters. Under afflictions, it first lists nine gates, and then explains according to the gates.
