三約因反難，若遠離彼轉依而有此佛果出世間道生轉事者，在於因位未轉依時，先應有此佛果道生轉事，以因位得轉依故。

Third, the reverse objection in terms of the cause: If the arising and continuation of this supramundane path of the Buddha-fruit could exist apart from that āśrayaparavṛtti, then at the causal stage when āśrayaparavṛtti has not yet occurred, the arising and continuation of this path of the Buddha-fruit ought to already exist, because [one would claim] āśrayaparavṛtti is attained at the causal stage.
