次云於第一相，有割愛等四種差別，如前應知者，謂如前說：一、割捨父母等事；二、中有無債；三、生有無故，曰後有無生，此則初證得苦，及苦因無餘盡故。

Next, it says: 'Regarding the first characteristic, there are four kinds of distinctions such as cutting off attachment, which should be known as before.' This means, as spoken of before: 1. cutting off and renouncing matters concerning parents and so forth; 2. having no debt in the intermediate existence; and 3. having no existence of rebirth, hence called "there is no rebirth in future existence". This, then, is the initial realization of the exhaustion of suffering and the causes of suffering without remainder.
