Fifth, explaining holy life (brahmacarya): regarding the statement, 'Because one does not know these three loci in accordance with reality,' and so forth, the three are: first, taints; second, feelings; and third, erroneous notions. The former five loci of the truth of origin are: first, the taints; second, feeling born of ignorance; third, erroneous notions; fourth, desires; and fifth, karma leading to further existence. Among these five, one does not know them in accordance with reality. The latter one locus of the truth of suffering is that one does not know in accordance with reality its manifold sufferings.
