第四解阿羅漢，達師云：成就八力者，不造惡業中有二力，一、厭背後有故不造，二、厭背諸欲故不造也。修善中有六力，謂道品七位，根力二門合為一，故有六也。今解，正斷、神足合為一，故為六也。

Fourth, explaining arhats: Master Da says: 'regarding accomplishing eight powers'—in not creating bad karma there are two powers: 1. not creating it because of revulsion toward future existences, and 2. not creating it because of revulsion toward desires. In cultivating the wholesome there are six powers: regarding the seven stages of the factors of awakening, the two gates of faculties and powers are combined into one, hence there are six. We now explain: the right abandonments and bases of supernatural power are combined into one, hence there are six.
