若於上位下，明作那含方便，在俗道中具作六念，以依根本禪得於天眼現見諸天，故有念天，得果時自證為他記別，阿羅漢果唯出世道乃至能趣證所有隨念唯是世間者，斷非想惑唯無漏道不作六念，故得果時但證生盡為他記別，是故不還果已上無如是隨念記別。

From 'If in the higher stages' downward, it clarifies the preparations for becoming an anāgāmin: within the mundane path, one completely practices the six recollections, because by relying on the fundamental dhyāna one attains the divine eye and visibly sees the gods, and thus has the recollection of gods. When obtaining the fruition, having verified it oneself, one declares it for others. As for 'the fruition of the arhat is solely the transworldly path... up to: all recollections capable of leading to verification are solely mundane', abandoning the defilements of [the sphere of] neither-perception-nor-non-perception is exclusively by the taintless path, in which one does not practice the six recollections; therefore, when obtaining the fruition, one only verifies that birth is exhausted and declares it for others. For this reason, above the fruition of non-returner there are no such declarative predictions of recollection.
