24.320

今此文中，一者、他舉諍事者，謂他舉時，詳評是非，彼此諍言，故名言諍，此即以多人語及現前毘尼，願出所犯定理除滅，故云願出所犯除滅。

"Now, in this text, first, 'matters of dispute raised by another' means that when another raises a matter, one evaluates right and wrong, and they argue in words with one another, hence it is called a dispute of words; this is extinguished through the majority vinaya and the vinaya in the presence, determining by principle the wish to emerge from what was committed, hence it says 'the wish to emerge from what was committed is extinguished.'"
