三者、自舉諍事者，自評此犯，而致紛紜，故名犯諍，此即以草覆地及自言毘尼詳共詳定，有罪皆懺，故云許求實性除滅。

Third, 'disputes of self-accusation': personally assessing this offense, which leads to confusion and turmoil; therefore it is called a 'dispute concerning offenses' [āpatti-adhikaraṇa]. This means using 'covering with grass' and 'confession of vinaya' to jointly deliberate and determine [the matter] in detail, confessing all offenses that exist. Hence it says, 'settled by permitting the search for reality.'
