第二別釋所緣差別中分二：初以緣即相，第二別明相，以此所緣是諸作意境，所以即相俱定等境故。別明相中，初明四相三十二相，後明本末相攝。

The second section, specifically explaining the distinctions among cognitive objects, is divided into two: first, taking the cognitive object as the mark; second, specifically clarifying the marks; this is because these cognitive objects are the domains of the mental applications, and thus are identical to marks, being both the domains of absorption and so forth. Within specifically clarifying marks, it first clarifies the four marks and thirty-two marks, and later clarifies the mutual subsumption of root and branch.
