云何自相相？謂自類自相等者，基云：自類自相者，謂五蘊類；各別自相，謂一一蘊眼等自相別故。有釋：自類者謂處自相，各別者謂事自相。

What is the characteristic of specific characteristics? It refers to the specific characteristics of their own category and so on. Ji says: "The specific characteristics of their own category" refers to the categories of the five aggregates; "distinct specific characteristics" means that each individual aggregate, such as the eye and so on, has its own distinct specific characteristic. Another explanation says: "own category" refers to the specific characteristics of the sense bases; "distinct" refers to the specific characteristics of individual phenomena.
