Fourth, as for 'the motile nature that is light and so forth', Ji says: Wind's capacity to create and what is created are similar in lightness, hence it is called 'light and so forth'; and because the nature of wind is motile, it is called 'the motile nature that is light and so forth'. Next are the four nutriments. Four dharmas serve as the footprints of consciousness, namely the four stations of consciousness. Master Ji explains: What is seen and then moved toward is the matter of the five sense faculties; what is grasped as the cognitive object is the matter of the six objects; the support and the cognitive object exist co-ordinately, corresponding in order to the faculties, the five sense fields, and the dharmāyatana. Now, it can also be said that the support is the five faculties, and the cognitive objects are the five sense fields along with matter included in the dharmāyatana.
