5.162

二勝行者者，一、定勝行；二、智勝行。定勝行有四：一、因聞依諦聖言論故正解法義；二、因廣大言音讀誦經典；三、因為他闡妙義；四、在空閑處審諦思惟，如於因聽聞因廣大音等，正解法義當知亦爾。智勝行者思惟對除上品貪欲，是為第五，義當毘曇五種解脫。

Regarding the two superior practitioners: first, the practitioner superior in concentration; second, the practitioner superior in wisdom. The practitioner superior in concentration has four [practices]: first, correctly understanding the meaning of the Dharma by hearing noble discourse based on truth; second, chanting the scriptures with an extensive voice; third, explaining the profound meaning to others; fourth, carefully and truly contemplating in a secluded place. Just as through listening, through an extensive voice, etc., one should know that correctly understanding the meaning of the Dharma is also like this. The practitioner superior in wisdom contemplates the antidote to upper-grade lust; this is the fifth, whose meaning corresponds to the five liberations in the Abhidharma.
