或色相殊勝者，景云：如見第一女色其心惑亂不分明。基云：日光威勢眼見不覩色相勝故。或復相似者，如豆在豆聚心生疑。或內所作者，則下所明如目眩等，三時極遠，如初帙中解。今勘彼第三卷，但明二種，略不論時極遠也。

Regarding "or its visual appearance is exceedingly superior": Jing says: for instance, seeing an extraordinarily beautiful woman, one's mind becomes confused and unclear. Ji says: the overpowering brilliance of sunlight prevents the eyes from seeing, because the visual appearance is exceedingly superior. Regarding "or again, similarity": for instance, when a bean is in a pile of beans, doubt arises in the mind. Regarding "or produced internally": that is what is explained below, such as visual floaters and the like. Regarding extreme distance in the three times, this is explained as in the first fascicle. Now examining that third fascicle, it only explains two kinds, omitting a discussion of extreme distance in time.
