Among the six venues of debate, the two assemblies—the multitudinous and the mixed—are collectively named the "great assembly." The "great assembly" is the royal house; the "judicial assembly" is the house of justice; the "assembly of truth" refers to the worthy and wise; the "virtuous assembly" refers to those who understand the meaning well and take pleasure in the meaning of the Dharma. Regarding "not hasty or rushed": speaking up mid-way while another is speaking is called "hasty"; not being deliberate and fitting to principle is called "rushed."
