若善修習此無縱逸等者，景師云：羅漢今身雖調善死，此死亦由過去不調善死故有今死，於現在不由不調善死而於未來俱不由死，以更不生故，若有縱逸補特伽羅現不調死，亦由過去不調而死，於現於未皆不調死。

Regarding "If one well cultivates this freedom from negligence, etc.": Master Jing says: "Although an arhat dies well-tamed in his present life, this death also occurs because of death not well-tamed in the past, and hence he has this present death. In the present he does not die from lack of taming, and in the future he does not die from either, because he will not be born again. If a negligent person dies untamed in the present, it is also due to having died untamed in the past; in both the present and the future, he dies untamed."
