第二番中，由依身故，受用苦樂等者，由我依身故受用苦樂。又執我為受苦樂者，又由我心於法非法能起染淨。基云：受苦樂者，依下覆解中云：於心意識執我愚者，我事愚故立心念住，即此計心以為我也，與前第一相違。

In the second turn: Regarding 'because of relying on the body, one experiences suffering and pleasure, and so forth': because the self relies on the body, it experiences suffering and pleasure. Furthermore, one clings to the self as the experiencer of suffering and pleasure; furthermore, by means of one's mind, one can generate defilement and purification with respect to dharmas and non-dharmas. Ji says: 'The experiencer of suffering and pleasure' relies on what is stated in the review below: 'Regarding the delusion of clinging to a self in the mind, intellection, and consciousness, because of delusion regarding the entity of a self, the application of mindfulness to the mind is established'—that is, this imputing of the mind as the self contradicts the first [turn] above.
