當觀此中慧根慧力至得沙門果者，以見道前慧根、慧力，即見道中智，由前慧根、慧力，引起聖智得沙門果，是故因果前後相即。

As for the passage from 'should contemplate the faculty of wisdom and the power of wisdom here' up to 'attaining the fruits of the recluse': because the faculty of wisdom and the power of wisdom prior to the path of seeing are precisely the knowledge on the path of seeing, and through the preceding faculty and power of wisdom, noble knowledge is induced and the fruits of the recluse are attained; therefore, the cause and effect, before and after, are mutually identified.
