異熟障中，景云：謂若生處至異熟果生者，即前業障所招異熟依彼聖道不生起，故名異熟障。梵王，若是菩薩應化，非異熟障；若實受者，是異熟障。

Regarding the obstacle of maturation, Jing said: regarding "if in a place of rebirth... up to... the fruit of maturation arises": the maturation brought about by the aforementioned obstacle of karma is one upon which the noble path cannot arise; hence it is called the obstacle of maturation. If the Brahmā king is a transformation of a bodhisattva, it is not an obstacle of maturation; if experienced as a real [birth], it is an obstacle of maturation.
