驗行中云：若有貪行彼聞為說淨妙言論，便發最極淨信愛樂等者，此中意由貪行者貪富樂，聞說佛土七寶所成淨妙言論發最極淨信等，非外欲境名為淨妙以不能發最極淨信故。

In examining conduct, it says: 'If one is of lustful conduct, upon hearing pure and wonderful discourse spoken, one then generates supreme pure faith, affection, and joy, and so forth'—here the meaning is that because one of lustful conduct desires wealth and pleasure, upon hearing pure and wonderful discourse spoken regarding a Buddha realm composed of the seven jewels, one generates supreme pure faith and so forth; it is not external objects of desire that are called 'pure and wonderful', because they cannot generate supreme pure faith.
