二、於境界失念起猛利纏，作意即遣。三、畢竟不墮惡趣，惡趣亦得對治道故。四、不故思犯戒。五、不退轉棄捨所學。景云：已斷惑種故，無退轉棄捨學果。基云：得決定智故，於所學中必不退轉棄捨所學也。

Second, when lapses of mindfulness toward sense-objects give rise to fierce entanglements, they are dispelled as soon as attention is applied. Third, he definitely never falls into the bad destinies, because the bad destinies also receive the path of the antidote. Fourth, he does not intentionally violate the precepts. Fifth, he does not retrogress and abandon what he has trained in. Jing says: "Because the seeds of affliction have already been severed, there is no retrogression or abandonment of the fruits of training." Ji says: "Because he has attained determinate cognition, he will definitely not retrogress or abandon what he has trained in among the disciplines."
