第四緣由覩眾生為五濁所逼，於中導引令他學我所以發心。即復有四，初、明於劫末時見諸眾生煩惱纏逼：二因事興念起引導心；三、於菩提深生信解；四因信解是故發心。

The fourth condition is seeing sentient beings oppressed by the five turbidities, and generating the mind in order to guide them to emulate oneself. This again has four: first, clarifying that at the end of an aeon one sees sentient beings bound and oppressed by afflictions; second, because of this circumstance, bringing forth the thought and giving rise to the mind to guide them; third, deeply giving rise to faith and understanding in bodhi; fourth, because of faith and understanding, therefore generating the mind.
