Fourth, the bliss of sambodhi. Ji says: "That is, correct awakening, meaning the bliss of non-conceptual wisdom; or it comprehensively takes post-attainment wisdom as the entity of this bliss, because by abandoning afflictions one attains this wisdom. The bliss of unconditioned nirvāṇa that is attained is included under this bliss. Because it realizes peaceful cessation, it is spoken of as peaceful cessation. Since it is subsumed under mind and mental factors, this is the entity of the five blisses. Furthermore, these five blisses are all conditioned and do not clarify the unconditioned; therefore, they do not take the peaceful cessation bliss of nirvāṇa." Ce says: "Among the four kinds of bliss free from affliction, the first takes precepts as its entity, the next two are concentration, and the last is wisdom and abandonment. Therefore the Saṃgraha and this treatise state: Two abandonments and two wisdoms are called bodhi."
