此中若約因果分別者，測云：以麁相分別苦對治樂唯因非果，餘之四種皆通因果，其果四無惱害樂中前三皆因後一是果，據細分別苦對治樂亦通因果，以化身受大魚等身息眾生飢苦等惱即是對治等，故通佛果，前三無惱害樂就實亦通因果。

Regarding the distinction between cause and fruition here, Ce says: "Distinguishing them coarsely, the bliss of remedying suffering is exclusively cause and not fruition; the other four all span cause and fruition. Among the four blisses free from affliction as fruitions, the first three are all cause and the last is fruition. According to subtle distinction, the bliss of remedying suffering also spans cause and fruition, because when the transformation body takes the form of a great fish or the like to cease sentient beings' afflictions such as the suffering of hunger, this is a remedy; therefore, it extends to the Buddha-fruition. The first three blisses free from affliction, in reality, also span cause and fruition."
