From the words “if one gives benefit to sentient beings, one should know the intended meaning is just giving peace and happiness” downward, the text distinguishes the actual matter of giving benefit, peace, and happiness; below, it clarifies giving and not giving with respect to the five pleasures. Regarding “One should know that all causal pleasure subsumed by karma yielding desirable fruits in the present life or the future... up to being appropriate, should just be bestowed upon sentient beings”: Jing says that one portion of the three pleasures is bestowed unconditionally because it is faultless; as for that pleasure of feeling and the causal and fruitional pleasures subsumed by faculties, objects, and contact, they may not be given, as can be known from the text.
