基云：依他性名假說相，假說有色等相故，圓成實性名為相處，即知假說依他除所計處有真如，故開二章竟。

Ji says: The paratantra nature is called the "metaphorical mark," because the marks of matter and so forth are metaphorically designated; the pariniṣpanna nature is called the "locus of the mark." Thus we know that when the metaphorical paratantra is removed from the locus of what is conceptualized, tathatā remains. Thus the opening of the two chapters is complete.
