論解二人失壞中云「二者、於假說相處、假說相」者，依他性名假說相，假說有色等相故；圓成實性名為相處，即知假說依他，除所計處，有真如故。

When explaining the ruin of the two kinds of persons, the treatise says, "Second, regarding the basis of the characteristics of nominal designation, [and] the characteristics of nominal designation." Paratantra-svabhāva is called the characteristics of nominal designation, because characteristics such as form are nominally designated; pariniṣpanna-svabhāva is called the basis of the characteristics, which means knowing that the nominally designated paratantra exists with True Suchness when setting aside the conceptualized basis.
