第三明八中，前三分別與所依緣展轉相生中，景云：於過去身起三分別，熏成所依自身種子及熏器世界所緣種，能生今世所有依緣。於現依緣不了知，故起分別時，後依緣種子生彼當來所依緣事，未來依緣後當生時，定為依緣生當分別。

In the third section, clarifying how the first three conceptualisations and their bases and objects reciprocally generate each other among the eight, Jing says: In past lifetimes one gave rise to the three conceptualisations, perfuming the seeds of one's own body as the base and perfuming the seeds of the receptacle world as the objects, which are capable of generating all bases and objects of the present life. Because one does not understand present bases and objects, when conceptualisation arises, the seeds of future bases and objects generate those future bases and objects; when future bases and objects subsequently arise, they definitely serve as bases and objects that generate future conceptualisations.
