種子識中，樂著戲論等者，一解云：即言說及分別皆名戲論，以現行為因所生種子異熟識，即名言熏習種子是。第二解云：即所生現行異熟識名種子，依熏習因是種故。第三解：通取現、種。

In 'the seed-consciousness delights in conceptual proliferation (prapañca), and so forth', one interpretation says: speech and discrimination are both called conceptual proliferation; the maturational consciousness as seed produced by taking the active [consciousness] as cause is precisely the seeds perfumed by conventional designation. The second interpretation says: precisely the active maturational consciousness produced is called seed, because it is a seed relying on the perfumed cause. The third interpretation: it broadly takes both active consciousness and seeds.
