第四、藏攝。《釋》下云：雖復通明諸乘境等，然說論者問答決擇諸法性相，意為菩薩，令於一切皆得善巧修成佛果，利益無盡，是故此論屬菩薩藏阿毘達磨，欲令菩薩得勝智故。由是此論雖明菩薩、聲聞二藏，唯菩薩藏攝；雖亦具詮戒定慧等，然於三藏，唯阿毘達磨藏攝。准此，六藏說攝可知。

Fourth, inclusion within the piṭakas. The Vibhāṣā below states: Although it generally clarifies the objects and so forth of all vehicles, nevertheless the speaker of the treatise, in questioning, answering, and determining the natures and characteristics of all dharmas, intends them for bodhisattvas, so that they may attain upāya-kauśalya in everything, cultivate and accomplish the Buddha fruit, and benefit inexhaustibly. Therefore, this treatise belongs to the Abhidharma of the Bodhisattva-piṭaka, because of wishing to cause bodhisattvas to obtain supreme wisdom. Therefore, although this treatise clarifies the two piṭakas of Bodhisattva and Śrāvaka, it is subsumed only under the Bodhisattva-piṭaka; although it also fully explains precepts, concentration, wisdom, and so forth, among the three piṭakas, it is subsumed only under the Abhidharma-piṭaka. According to this, its inclusion under the six piṭakas can be known.
