11.64

論解依二種相，應為他說，復云「如是菩薩說正法相略有二十」者，此語前二種相中，初隨順說十五句，應淨淨說中五句，更無異義，應配次知。　「四者、相續」者，謂前不慳正法，謂不慳故，相續為說。　「十者、不擯」，謂前慶慰，言有罪者不擯罰之，但應慶慰。

Regarding the treatise explaining that based on two kinds of characteristics one should speak to others, and further stating, "such characteristics of a bodhisattva speaking the true Dharma are, in brief, twenty": this refers to the previous two kinds of characteristics, with the initial fifteen phrases of compliant speech and five phrases in pure speech; there is no other meaning, and they should be matched in sequence. / "Fourth, continuous": this refers to the previous [point of] not being stingy with the true Dharma; because one is not stingy, one speaks continuously. / "Tenth, not rejecting": this refers to the previous [point of] rejoicing and consoling; it says that toward one who has faults, one does not reject or punish them, but should only rejoice with and console them.
