11.83

難行施中云「或長時串習」者，如一經卷等，是菩薩長時串習，此利益多，不可施；如前說，如財等，是串習所得；又正串習，具能施是經。「或有上品恩」者，謂有上品恩人未與，今將施之。

Where giving that is difficult to practice says: "Or what has been practiced for a long time": such as a single sūtra roll, which the bodhisattva has practiced for a long time; this has great benefit and cannot be given away; as stated before, things like wealth were obtained through practice; furthermore, when currently practicing, he is fully able to give this sūtra. / "Or those of supreme kindness": this refers to those of supreme kindness to whom one has not yet given, and now one is about to give to them.
