論云「已得十種妙方便慧所引世間不共一切有情而共一切世間進道勝行」等者，此十種慧能與第八地作方便，故名方便慧。何以得知故？

Regarding the treatise stating 'Having attained the superior practice of advancing on the path, which is induced by the ten kinds of wonderful expedient wisdom, is unshared with any sentient beings in the world, yet is shared with all worldly things,' etc.: These ten kinds of wisdom can serve as expedients for the Eighth Bhūmi; hence they are called expedient wisdom.
