論云「依有情界」者，當經第二、說對治也。故經言：寂滅諸煩惱纏，而為眾生起滅貪等。故知有情界為生染惑，是說對治。十中第五也。

Regarding the treatise stating 'based on the realm of sentient beings': this corresponds to the sūtra's second, teaching the antidote. Hence the sūtra says: 'While ceasing all afflictive entanglements, for the sake of sentient beings one gives rise to the eradication of greed and so forth.' Thus we know that taking the realm of sentient beings as that which gives rise to defiled delusions means teaching the antidote. This is the fifth among the ten.
