論云「如前所說十二行相方便善巧」者，謂如前〈菩提分品〉明也。五種大願，亦如彼品。其實十願據勝者論，故云前五。十力方便，如〈力種姓品〉也。

The treatise states: "Skillful means of the twelve aspects as explained previously": this refers to the explanation in the previous "Chapter on the Factors of Awakening." The five great vows are also as in that chapter. In actuality, the ten vows are discussed according to the superior ones, which is why it says the "former five." The skillful means of the ten powers are as in the "Chapter on the Lineage of Powers."
