12.34

論云「譬如空中有眾多色、色業可得，容受一切諸色、色業」等者，此喻真如如空，遍計如色等。如下唯遣遍計諸似色、色業，證真如似空之性。

The treatise says, "Just as in space numerous forms and activities of form can be found, accommodating all forms and activities of form," and so forth: this simile compares true suchness to space, and the imagined [nature] to form and so on. As explained below, it merely dispels all the apparent forms and activities of form of the imagined nature, and realizes the space-like nature of true suchness.
