論解勇猛自性云「謂諸菩薩剛決堅固，無所怯劣，有大勢力」，景法師：以進、忍、智三是體故，次第配之。今看文意不然，但偏明精進，即被甲精進等三次第配之。此中修不明忍、智，以取正剋自體故。

Regarding the treatise's explanation of the intrinsic nature of vigor, stating, "namely, bodhisattvas are resolute, firm, fearless, and possess great power": Dharma Master Jing sequentially matches these because vigor, patience, and wisdom are the substance. Looking at the sense of the text now, this is not so; it specifically clarifies vigor alone, and sequentially matches the three such as armor-donning vigor. Cultivation here does not clarify patience and wisdom, because it takes strictly its own essence.
