12.67

論解依處者，依謂相依，依相之起處，有為依處，亦六因依也。能解甚深義理密意依處中有五義：第一、「謂隨順甚深甚深顯現」等者，甚深，謂真如隨順，即緣如之智，隨順如故。甚深顯現，即依智故，真如顯現也。第四依處中云「法相義」者，想謂能詮之名，義謂所詮之法。第五、即四無礙解也。

The treatise explains the bases: "basis" means reliance on characteristics; the places where characteristics arise are the bases of conditioned phenomena, and are also the bases of the six causes. Among the bases of being able to understand the profound meaning and esoteric intention, there are five meanings: first, "namely, following the profound, manifesting the profound," and so forth: "profound" refers to tathatā; "following" is the wisdom that takes tathatā as object, because it follows tathatā. "Manifesting the profound" means that based on wisdom, tathatā manifests. In the fourth basis, "meaning of the characteristics of dharmas": "concept" refers to the expressing name; "meaning" refers to the expressed dharma. The fifth refers to the four unhindered knowledges.
