14.77

論云「六、餘修所成」，謂前施、戒、修，修者四無量。今此唯取勝慧，是彼四無量修餘故。無漏定慧，名簡擇所成事。「攝有情」是大悲。

The treatise says: "Six: the others cultivated." This refers to the previous generosity, discipline, and cultivation, where cultivation denotes the four immeasurables. Here it takes only superior wisdom, because it is the remainder of cultivating those four immeasurables. Uncontaminated concentration and wisdom are called "that accomplished through discrimination." "Gathering sentient beings" is great compassion.
