From "That which is the sphere of activity of supramundane wisdom" below, it clarifies undefiled liberation through wisdom and of mind. In first clarifying the with-outflows: from "Herein, relying on liberation through wisdom" below up to "Furthermore, relying on liberation of mind" above, it clarifies wisdom; from "Furthermore, relying on liberation of mind" below, it clarifies mind. Within clarifying wisdom: first it clarifies the object of wisdom; from "Its intrinsic nature" below, it clarifies the substance of wisdom, which is intelligible. Within clarifying liberation of mind, it is also like this: first it clarifies the mind to be defiled or purified, and next it clarifies the fruit of mental liberation. That is, from "Furthermore, relying on liberation of mind" down to "capable of apprehending and discerning", it clarifies the mind to be defiled or purified, which is the mind capable of apprehending the objective realms of form, etc. From "The fruit of the mental liberation of mundane wisdom" down to "precisely through the predominant influence of liberation through wisdom", it clarifies the fruit of mental liberation. That is, through the power of the aforementioned mundane wisdom, its mind emerges from associated bondage and objective bondage. "Associated" means associated bondage. "Intermixed" means objective-condition bondage. Furthermore, 'associated' means defilements arising simultaneously; 'intermixed' means arising mixed before and after. This is the fruit of mundane mental liberation, being able not to be defiled by associated [defilements] and intermittent arisings, but not yet separated from objective-condition bondage, etc. If it is separated, that is the fruit of undefiled mental liberation. Undefiled liberation through wisdom and of mind also has two parts: the object of antidotal treatment and the characteristics of the fruit.
