20. Regarding "Concomitant with pleasure, excluding two, the remainder," and so forth: the Weishi says: "Ten are concomitant with pleasure and equanimity, because feeling does not associate with feeling itself, and in the state of old age and death there is mostly no pleasure and it permits equanimity. Eleven are concomitant with pain, because it does not associate with feeling itself. Old age and death have much pain, so it mentions eleven." The essential nature of their seeds is concomitant according to their corresponding states, as in the existence-constituent and so forth. Seeds being concomitant with seeds should all be contemplated correctly. 'Concomitant' means co-existent.
