6.70

「通有漏無漏他心差別智」者，有漏他心智不知無漏心，亦不知彼能緣自證分等，不知彼能知智，謂自心不自見故。無漏他心智能知有漏無漏心，亦知能知智。佛智後三分通能知自故，然未必作道四行，亦未必通餘人。

"Distinguishing knowledge of others' minds that is common to the defiled and undefiled": Defiled knowledge of others' minds does not know undefiled minds, nor does it know their grasping self-awareness aspect (svasaṃvittibhāga) and the like; it does not know the knowledge that is capable of knowing, because its own mind does not see itself. Undefiled knowledge of others' minds is capable of knowing both defiled and undefiled minds, and it also knows the knowledge capable of knowing. Because the Buddha's knowledge in its latter three aspects is universally capable of knowing itself, it does not necessarily construct the four aspects of the path, nor is it necessarily accessible to other people.
