第十四段一頌釋中，文分為四：初、釋初句；第二、「若有復能於善說法」下，釋第二句；第三、「如是善修正方便」下，釋第三句；「又修如前所得道故」下，釋第四句。　「受持七種依福業事」者，此有二說：一云即七聖財，施最增上，所以偏說；二云前說八施中，翻前七有過施。更應思勘。

In the explanation of the fourteenth section, one verse, the text is divided into four parts: first, explaining the first line; second, from "If there is one who is further able, regarding the well-spoken Dharma" downward, explaining the second line; third, from "In this way practicing well the correct means" downward, explaining the third line; from "Furthermore, because of cultivating the path attained as before" downward, explaining the fourth line. As for "upholding the seven kinds of basis for meritorious actions," there are two explanations here: one says they are the seven noble treasures, with giving being the most superior, which is why it is specifically mentioned; the second says that among the eight givings previously mentioned, it reverses the previous seven faulty givings. This should be further considered and examined.
