論解癡中言「如說鈍根，彰行亦爾」者，即鈍根人為說麁法，勵力尋求，方能解了。此癡行者聞涅槃等言說變壞怖畏，說後邪授而不怖畏，如鈍根人，勵力方了。

In explaining delusion, the treatise says: "Just as dull faculties were described, manifesting conduct is also like this." That is, for a person of dull faculties, coarse dharma is explained to them, and only after striving in seeking are they able to comprehend. This person of deluded conduct, when hearing discourse on nirvāṇa and so forth, is terrified of transformation and destruction, but when told later heterodox instructions, is not terrified, just like a person of dull faculties who only comprehends after striving.
