1.116

此依勝義，勝義心、言俱絕。依第二、第三勝義，不可言一、多，真故，相無別。依世間中，可言八別。今以類同，故有三種。

This is based on the ultimate truth; in the ultimate truth, mind and words are both transcended. Based on the second and third ultimate truths, one cannot speak of one or many, because they are the real and their marks are without distinction. Based on the worldly [level], one may speak of eight distinct [consciousnesses]. Now, because their classes are shared, there are three kinds.
