The Commentary states: Below this is the second part, broadly explaining the above verse, which has four sections: first, broadly explaining the correct wisdom; second, explaining the name of the stage; third, explaining the difference between the true and reflective path of seeing; fourth, explaining the differences in qualities when attaining the path of seeing. In broadly explaining the correct wisdom, concerning the two parts of this wisdom, there are three interpretations in total; the Buddhabhūmi-sūtra-śāstra has two explanations, lacking this first one. However, the way all anāsrava cittas operate there is not like this. Saying that it has neither grasped nor grasper marks means that the substance of consciousness merges with tathatā, dark and ungrasping, having no grasping at conditions, just as the verse from the Mahāyāna-sūtrālaṃkāra cited in the sixth chapter of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha says: 'The wise understand that both are nonexistent, / Abiding equally in the true dharmadhātu devoid of both', etc. This verse speaks of being free from the marks of the two graspers and so forth; passages of this kind are not single, and cannot be cited exhaustively.
